Soft Glam Bridal Makeup that Lasts: My July Bride’s Wedding Day Glow
There’s nothing I love more than helping my brides feel confident, radiant, and completely themselves on their wedding day - and my beautiful July bride, Simeng, was the perfect example. She wanted a soft glam bridal look that highlighted her natural beauty, felt lightweight, and most importantly, would hold up through the summer heat and humidity.
For her wedding, we leaned into a timeless, glowing style. With her gorgeous features, I tailored her makeup to enhance her eyes with soft definition, gave her skin a lit-from-within glow, and built light layers of skin prep, foundation, and concealer that wouldn’t budge no matter how much dancing, hugging, and celebrating she did. The result? A look that felt romantic, effortless, and completely wedding-day ready. It also made Simeng feel like herself!
Bridal makeup in the summer comes with unique challenges (hello, humidity!). That is why I focused on prepping her skin properly, choosing lightweight but long-lasting products, and setting everything in place so her makeup stayed fresh from “I do” to the very last dance. Layering with one of my favorite setting sprays from Jung Sae Mool, helped the creams and powders to melt and blend effortlessly, preventing a cakey makeup look. Everything was sealed in with a final spray using the One Size Setting Spray.
The bride was such a joy to glam, and her radiant, soft glam look is a reminder that wedding makeup doesn’t need to be heavy to last - it just needs the right prep and the right products.

Spring Bridal Makeup Inspiration: A May Wedding to Remember
This May, I had the joy of glamming up gorgeous bride, Caroline, and her bridal party for a stunning spring wedding. The bride wanted a timeless, glowing look that felt fresh and radiant for her big day - and her bridal party was all about soft flam to complement her. From golden, lit-from-within skin to perfectly blended eyeshadow, every detail was chosen to enhance their natural beauty while lasting through tears, laughter, and plenty of dancing. Caroline was also worried about the makeup lasting, so she opted for airbrush makeup, which would help through the southern heat and humidity.
Bridal mornings are always so special, and being surrounded by her closest friends (and best hype women) and family made the glam chair feel like part of the celebration. If you’re a bride-to-be looking for flawless, camera-ready makeup that feels like you, I’d love to be a part of your wedding day!

Soft Glam Bridal Makeup for a Dreamy Spring Wedding in Hickory, NC
Novie and Shane got married on a beautiful April day at their church in Hickory, NC. All the girls wore different shades of green which complimented the bride’s dress and florals.
We did a few changes from Novie’s makeup trial and added a little more glow and glam to her eyes. We stuck with a warmer color palette to compliment her features. I absolutely loved having the Dior Forever Glow Luminizing Maximizer to give Novie a “glow from within” look. I placed it on top of her eyes and on the tops of her cheeks for a natural luminous finish.
All her bridesmaids requested the same glowing complexion as well. To ensured everything was locked in place, we prepped and set everyone with a great foundation of skin prep. Finished that off and locked it in with the One Size On ‘Til Dawn Setting Spray.

Caitlin and Patrick - White Crow Wedding Banner Elk
Caitlin and Patrick got married at the White Crow wedding venue in Banner Elk during late summer. The weather was honestly perfect for this mountain top, upscale wedding venue. I did a trial with Caitlin earlier in the year and she requested a soft glam makeup look with airbrush makeup since the weather is a bit unpredictable in the Carolinas.
We decided to stick with warmer toned eyeshadows and tight lined her eyes to emphasize the beautiful shape of them. I like to tightline the eyes with a black or brown so it thickens the lash line more naturally than putting a thick liner on the lid. To ensure that it is full-proof and long wearing, I usually use a gel liner or pencil liner and smudge an eyeshadow of the same color to lock in the liner.
Of course the day could not have been any sweeter, but Caitlin’s sweet dog, Ghibli was the icing on the cake! I had to make sure I wasn’t distracted by his sweet face!

Bridal Trials - What to expect?
You have booked your bridal makeup with me and your bridal trial is scheduled! Now what? Now is the time to look at inspiration photos to bring to your makeup trial. It’s best to bring photos that you like from your makeup artists social media pages. It is also helpful to bring photos of how you have got your makeup done previously. What did you like? What did you NOT like? Did you like the colors or tones used on you? Warmer tones? Cooler tones? These are all questions to bring to your bridal trial.
It is also helpful to wear white and a top that mimics your neckline of your wedding dress! That way you can get a better visual of how everything will look on your wedding day. If possible, schedule your makeup trial on the same day as your hair trial. That way you can see how everything will look together!
Probably one of the MOST IMPORTANT parts of your bridal trial is to not be afraid to give feedback. Please speak up if you do not like something or want to change something. That is what a bridal trial is all about! We can fix and tweak anything, but only if you let us know. We want to make sure you come out of that trial happy and excited for your wedding day look!
Airbrush Bridal Glam for Kelly Ann
Kelly Ann and David got married at Separk Mansion during a beautiful, sunny summer in Charlotte, NC. The Separk Mansion was a beautiful venue that they could celebrate a nice intimate wedding with their friends and family.
At her bridal trial, Kelly Ann requested a full glam look with Temptu airbrush makeup. We emphasized her eyes with a smoked out shadow and shimmery lid. Airbrush was definitely a great option since it gets very hot and humid in the south! The S/B foundation from Temptu is sweat-resistant and transfer-resistant, so it’s a great option for brides that want to ensure long lasting results on their wedding day!
Thank you Kelly Ann for trusting me with such a special part of your day! Truly such and honor!
