Bridal Trials - What to expect?

You have booked your bridal makeup with me and your bridal trial is scheduled! Now what? Now is the time to look at inspiration photos to bring to your makeup trial. It’s best to bring photos that you like from your makeup artists social media pages. It is also helpful to bring photos of how you have got your makeup done previously. What did you like? What did you NOT like? Did you like the colors or tones used on you? Warmer tones? Cooler tones? These are all questions to bring to your bridal trial.

It is also helpful to wear white and a top that mimics your neckline of your wedding dress! That way you can get a better visual of how everything will look on your wedding day. If possible, schedule your makeup trial on the same day as your hair trial. That way you can see how everything will look together!

Probably one of the MOST IMPORTANT parts of your bridal trial is to not be afraid to give feedback. Please speak up if you do not like something or want to change something. That is what a bridal trial is all about! We can fix and tweak anything, but only if you let us know. We want to make sure you come out of that trial happy and excited for your wedding day look!

Airbrush Bridal Glam for Kelly Ann

Kelly Ann and David got married at Separk Mansion during a beautiful, sunny summer in Charlotte, NC. The Separk Mansion was a beautiful venue that they could celebrate a nice intimate wedding with their friends and family.

At her bridal trial, Kelly Ann requested a full glam look with Temptu airbrush makeup. We emphasized her eyes with a smoked out shadow and shimmery lid. Airbrush was definitely a great option since it gets very hot and humid in the south! The S/B foundation from Temptu is sweat-resistant and transfer-resistant, so it’s a great option for brides that want to ensure long lasting results on their wedding day!

Thank you Kelly Ann for trusting me with such a special part of your day! Truly such and honor!
